Hi and thank you for stopping by. Who Is Misty Greene?

I am a fun loving, always laughing, and full of love, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend. I am a believer in Jesus Christ, and I am a photographer. I am married to my best friend Tommy, we have 2 wonderful boys. We are living out our dreams. We live in the country on 20 acres of land with cattle and dogs. We don't live in a fancy house or drive a fancy car, but this is our life and this is right where God wanted us to be.

I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY....  I have had a camera in hand since I was a child. My husband often thinks I am crazy because I will ask him to stop so I can take a picture of some random things. I have a problem, and I admit it. :-)

I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. I worked as a dental assistant for 4 years before I decided to go ahead an take the leap and make this my full time job. I have taken several classes online, I attended the worlds largest Wedding Photographer Convention (WPPI) in Las Vegas, and got to meet and work with some amazing and talented photographers from around the world. I am very blessed to have one of my best friends that I met through following her photography help me and support me. It is really something to have someone take you under their wing and help you build your business. I am working to get certified in Professional Photography by next summer.

Creative Photography Challenge

Yesterday I was doing a little searching on the web trying to better my photography when I came across this 24 day challenge. Each day I am going to take a picture of something different. I think this will help me to get to know my camera and what settings are best for what times of the days! I have been doing a lot of reading and tutorials on line. Tonight I have my first online class for Photography. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I am scared I'm going to interrupted by little man and miss something important. I will post tomorrow how it went.

Starting out

Today is the First time I have ever Blogged. I'm starting this blog so that people can see my work as I am starting  my photography business. I have always had a passion for photography, but never had the money to buy the right equipment. This year my husband surprised me with a Canon T3i! I'm in love with this camera, No its not a Nikon D700 or the Canon 5d Mark ii , but it is perfect for I want to do!  I have taken pictures of my kids for years and loved the way they turned out. This year when I got my camera I could really see my potential as a photographer. I am planning on taking a few classes to learn a few things that will make it easier. I am very excited to be starting this chapter in my life. My husband has always told me that this is something I should do, So I know I have his Full support.
